Yield is the income earned from an investment, typically expressed as a percentage of the initial investment.

Yield represents the return an investor receives from an investment over a specific period, usually a year. It's often shown as a percentage and helps compare the profitability of different investments. For bonds, it's the interest payment; for stocks, it's the dividend payment.
